Barbara Reynolds is a summa cum laude graduate of UCLA with a degree in music, who sings both classical and musical theatre roles. Recently seen as Joanna in Hold on to Love for Tabard Theatre Company, she has also appeared locally in Ragtime (Mother), The 1940s Radio Hour (Ann Collier), She Loves Me (Amalia), A Little Night Music (Anne), The Music Man (Marian), and 1776 (Abigail Adams) with Saratoga Drama Group; The Secret Garden (Lily) with Theatre in the Mountains; The King and I (Anna) with Pleasanton Playhouse; City of Angels (Bobbi/Gabby) with Sunnyvale Players; A Little Night Music (Mrs. Nordstrom) and Ragtime with TheatreWorks; and the annual A Christmas Carol with CenterREP of Walnut Creek.

Other favorites include H.M.S. Pinafore (Josephine) with the Lamplighters;
Pipe Dream (Mabel) with 42nd Street Moon; High Society (Tracy) with West Valley Light Opera; Brigadoon (Fiona), The Secret Garden (Lily), and West Side Story (Maria) with Pleasanton Playhouse; The Most Happy Fella (Rosabella) and Princess Ida (Ida) with Lyric Theatre; Ragtime (Mother) and Carousel (Julie) with Townsend Opera; and many leading roles at Los Altos Conservatory Theatre. Classical roles include La Boheme (Musetta) for the San Francisco Opera Guild; Prima Donna (Fiametta) and Amelia Goes to the Ball for the College of Notre Dame; and The Impresario (Miss Silverpeal) at UCLA, as well as current appearances with the Gilbert & Sullivan troupe Savoy Express.

Barbara has performed as guest soloist with the Peninsula Symphony, California Symphony, and Palo Alto Philharmonic; she has won awards at the NATS Northern California vocal competition in both the Concert and Opera divisions, as well as the Dean Goodman Choice award for her performance as Magnolia in Show Boat with Foothill Music Theatre.
